Connect your own domain

You can use a domain you own for your pages and short links, for example links.yourbrand.com.

Add the domain

1. Open Domains and choose Add domain.
2. Type the domain. We recommend a subdomain like links. or go.: it’s simpler than using your main domain.

Add two DNS records

Your domain provider (GoDaddy, Namecheap, Cloudflare, WhoGoHost and so on) has a DNS page. Add:

• a TXT record that proves the domain is yours (the name and value are shown on the Domains screen), and
• a CNAME record that points the domain to Weesify.

Then choose Verify.

If it doesn’t verify

Choose Check my DNS. Weesify looks at your records and tells you exactly what’s wrong, in plain words, with the steps for your provider. The most common problems:

• The domain was added twice, like _weesify.links.yourbrand.com.yourbrand.com. Most providers add your domain for you, so type only the first part.
• Cloudflare’s proxy is on. Set the record to “DNS only” (grey cloud).
• It’s too soon. New records usually appear within minutes, sometimes up to an hour.
