Watermelon CBD Review: Discover the Refreshing Benefits of Natural CBD
The Effects of Watermelon CBD Supplement on Anxiety and Sleep Disturbances: A Case Study
Introduction:
Anxiety and sleep disturbances have become increasingly prevalent in modern society, with a significant impact on mental and physical health. Cannabinoids (CB) from hemp plants have been studied for their potential therapeutic benefits, including reducing anxiety and promoting better sleep. One unique water-soluble supplement that has gained attention in recent years is Watermelon CBD. This review aims to evaluate the efficacy of Watermelon CBD in alleviating anxiety and improving sleep quality.
Background:
Watermelon CBD is a new, novel supplement derived from the extracts of watermelon and CBD from hemp plants. It is believed that the chemical properties of watermelon, such as citrulline, may interact positively with CBD to enhance therapeutic effects. Previous studies have demonstrated the anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving properties of citrulline and watermelon polyphenols.
Case 1: Anxiety Reduction
A 35-year-old woman, (Patient 1), presented with recurrent anxiety attacks, characterized by an overwhelming feeling of fear, panic, and inability to concentrate. Patient 1 reported a history of chronic stress and traumatic events. Conventional treatments, including antidepressants and cognitive-behavioral therapy, had provided some relief but not fully addressed her symptoms.
Patient 1 started Watermelon CBD supplement at a dose of 25mg per day for 4 weeks. Before treatment, her anxiety levels were rated on the 10-point Patient Health Questionnaire (PHQ-9) Anxiety scale at 8/10. After 2 weeks, patient's anxiety levels decreased to 5/10, and 4 weeks later, it dropped to 2/10. The reduction in anxiety scores was attributed to reduced frequency, intensity, and duration of anxiety attacks.
