People can only connect a network once you have set it up. This guide is for the person who manages the Weesify installation.
Steps
- For each network, create an app on the network's developer website. The app belongs to your Weesify, not to any one customer.
- Open Console › Content OS › Social apps.
- Copy the app's ID and secret into the network's row.
- Copy the redirect URL shown there and paste it into the network's app settings.
- Switch the network on.
Until a network is switched on, people see "Not set up yet" and their posts on that network go out as reminders. Nothing is faked.
Good to know
- Each network reviews your app before it works for the public. Start early, because reviews take weeks. Until approved, an app usually works only for you and the testers you add.
- Have your privacy policy and terms links ready, a data deletion link or instructions, and a short screen recording of the feature.
- Facebook and Instagram can share one app.
