Affiliate programme terms

These affiliate programme terms apply when you join a creator's affiliate programme on Weesify to promote their products and earn commission. Each programme is run by the creator (the "Merchant"), not by Weesify. The Merchant's own programme terms, shown on their sign-up page, also apply; if they conflict with these terms, these terms apply to the extent of the conflict on matters of fraud, privacy and use of Weesify.

1. Joining

1.1. You must be at least 18 and give accurate details. The Merchant may approve your application automatically or manually, and may refuse or remove any affiliate.

1.2. Your private affiliate dashboard link is sent only to your email. Keep it secret; anyone with it can see your dashboard.

2. How referrals are tracked

2.1. You get a personal referral code and links. When someone opens a link containing your code, a first-party referral cookie is set on the Merchant's pages for the Merchant's referral window (between 1 and 365 days; 30 days by default).

2.2. Attribution is last click: if the buyer later clicks another affiliate's link for the same Merchant, that affiliate gets the credit.

2.3. A purchase is credited to you only if it is made within the referral window, on the same browser, and the cookie has not been deleted or blocked. Tracking is not guaranteed and neither the Merchant nor Weesify is liable for referrals that are not tracked.

3. Commission

3.1. The commission rate is set by the Merchant (a programme default, a rate per product, or a rate for you personally), and is shown in your dashboard.

3.2. Commission is calculated on the order total excluding added tax and is earned when the order is paid.

3.3. Commission is reversed if the order is refunded or charged back, including after it has been paid to you, in which case the Merchant may deduct it from future commission or ask you to repay it.

3.4. The Merchant may change rates going forward; changes do not affect commission already earned.

4. Payment

4.1. The Merchant pays your commission, not Weesify. Payment timing, minimum thresholds and method are set by the Merchant and recorded in your dashboard.

4.2. You are responsible for your own taxes on commission and for giving the Merchant any tax information they need.

5. Prohibited practices

You must not:

5.1. buy through your own link or refer yourself, household members or your own accounts (self-referrals are blocked and earn no commission);

5.2. use cookie stuffing, forced clicks, hidden iframes, adware, or any method that sets a referral without a genuine click;

5.3. bid on the Merchant's brand name in paid search ads unless they allow it in writing;

5.4. send spam or unsolicited messages, or post links where it breaks a platform's rules;

5.5. make false, misleading or exaggerated claims about products, prices or results, or offer unauthorised discounts;

5.6. impersonate the Merchant or Weesify, or create sites that could be mistaken for theirs;

5.7. promote on sites with content that breaks our Acceptable use policy.

Referrals suspected of fraud may be flagged for the Merchant's review, held or cancelled.

6. Disclosure

You must clearly disclose that you earn commission whenever you promote, as required by consumer protection and advertising rules (for example the US FTC Endorsement Guides, the UK CAP Code, and EU consumer law). "#ad" or "affiliate link" next to the link is a good start.

7. Your data

The Merchant is the controller of your affiliate data (name, email, clicks, sales and payouts); Weesify processes it on their behalf. See our Privacy policy for how Weesify handles data.

8. Ending

You can leave a programme at any time. The Merchant may suspend or end your participation, especially for breaches of these terms. Commission earned on valid, unrefunded orders before ending remains payable unless you broke these terms.

9. Liability

Weesify provides the tracking software only and is not a party to the arrangement between you and the Merchant. To the extent the law allows, Weesify is not liable for commissions owed by a Merchant.
