Check the video engine

Make sure Video Studio can render and transcribe, and see what is waiting in the queue.

Steps

  1. Open Console › Content OS › Video engine.
  2. Check that it says Ready: videos can be rendered as MP4. If not, choose Install video engine (Super Admin only) and wait a few minutes, then Check again.
  3. Look at Background worker. It should say ready. If it shows a problem, read How to fix it.
  4. Under Render & transcription queue, see what is pending, what failed and what is retrying.
  5. Under Render limits, set the highest resolution, the longest video per project and how many renders run at the same time. Keep the last one low on a small server.

Tips

  • Check Scheduler running. The video jobs depend on it.
