Video Studio is for the footage you already have: talking-head clips, talks, screen recordings. It prepares a first cut for you to review. Your original files are never changed.
Steps
- Open Content › Video Studio and choose New video.
- Under What do you want to do?, choose a goal. The studio prepares a first cut for that goal, and you review every step before it is applied.
- Enter a Title, for example "Ramadan preparation tips".
- Under Footage, upload a clip, or choose from your media library. If you pick several, they are used in the order you choose them.
- Choose Start a video. The project shows Preparing… with a percentage while your footage is prepared.
- Open the project when it is ready. You can search your projects by title.
Find your way
- A short welcome tour explains the preview, the timeline and Studio AI the first time you open the editor. You can Skip it.
- The top of the editor shows All changes saved when your edits are safe.
- Choose Back to Video Studio to return to your list.
Tips
- Short, clear footage with one voice gives the best transcript.
- The home screen shows how many export minutes you have used this month, for example "12 of 60 export minutes".
Troubleshooting
- "Video processing isn't set up on this server yet": a Weesify admin needs to install it. See Check the video engine.
- "Needs attention" on a project: something went wrong while processing. Choose Try again.
