The Audio tool makes speech clear, and lets you add an audio track you have the rights to.
Improve the voice
- Open the Audio tool (on a phone, Sound).
- Under Voice, adjust Footage sound.
- Switch on Level for social. It evens out loud and quiet parts to the loudness Reels, TikTok and YouTube expect.
- Switch on Reduce background noise to soften hum, fans and room hiss behind the voice.
Add background audio
- Under Background audio, choose Add audio from library. If your audio library is empty, upload your own: a voice-over, ambience or a sound you have the rights to.
- Choose Use. The track shows In use.
- Set the Level, and Use this part with Start and End to pick a section.
- Set Fade in and Fade out, or switch on Loop to the video's length.
- Switch on Lower it while someone speaks. It follows the transcript, so speech always stays clear.
- Choose Stop using background audio to remove it.
Tips
- Keep background audio quiet. The voice should always lead.
- Only use audio you made or are allowed to use.
