Weesify's own analytics don't use cookies and don't store visitors' IP addresses. You still get useful numbers about your pages and links, and your visitors' privacy is protected by default.
How visitors are counted
- When someone opens your page, short link or QR code, Weesify records the visit: the country, the device type, the operating system and browser, the language, where they came from (for example social, search, email or QR) and any campaign tags in the link.
- To count unique visitors, Weesify makes a scrambled code from the visit's IP address and browser, using a secret that changes every day. The IP address itself is never stored, and the code can't be turned back into one.
- Because the code changes daily, a returning visitor counts as new the next day. Journeys, such as a visit that leads to a sale, count when they happen within a day. Your sales and lead totals from every source are shown beside them so nothing is lost.
- Visits from your own page to its own links aren't counted as a traffic source, and bot traffic is flagged.

Ad pixels and cookies
Weesify's analytics need no cookie banner. Ad pixels from Meta, Google, TikTok and others are different: they're third-party tools that may use cookies.
- Open Pixels and choose Add pixel.
- Choose where it fires: pages, links, the store or bookings.
- Visitors in the EU, UK and similar regions are asked first before a pixel loads. Weesify's own analytics keep working whether they agree or not.
Tips
- Pixels depend on your plan. If they aren't included, you see "Tracking pixels aren't included in your plan".
- If you collect emails, add an Email consent question to your form so people choose to subscribe.
- Mention any pixels you use in your own privacy notice.
Troubleshooting
- My numbers differ from my ad platform: pixels only fire for visitors who agree, while Weesify counts every visit without cookies.
- "Pixels are switched off on Weesify right now": your pixels are kept, but none load until they're switched back on.
