Non-profits, schools and students, and open-source projects can apply for a discount on Weesify's regular prices. You apply once from Plan & billing, attach evidence, and we email you with the decision.
Who can apply
- Non-profit: registered charities, 501(c)(3) organisations or the local equivalent. Applies to Pro and Business.
- Education: accredited schools and universities, teachers and students. Applies to Pro and Business.
- Open source: non-commercial open-source projects with an OSI-approved licence and a public repository. Applies to Pro.
Each card on the Discounts tab shows the current percentage off.
Steps
- Go to Settings › Plan & billing › Discounts. You can also choose Apply for a discount on the Overview.
- Choose Apply on the programme that fits you. The Application form opens with that Programme selected.
- Fill in Organisation or project name (required), plus Type of organisation, Registration number or institution and Website or repository URL.
- Under Evidence (PDF or image), attach proof such as a registration certificate, a student or staff ID, or your licence page. PDF, PNG, JPG and WEBP files up to 10 MB are accepted.
- Add a Note if anything needs explaining, then choose Apply for a discount.
- You see "Thanks — we'll review your application and email you."
Track your application
Your application appears on the Discounts tab with a status:
- Waiting for review: we haven't decided yet.
- Approved, or Approved with the percentage off and an end date.
- Not approved, with the reason when one was given.
You also get an email when it's approved or declined.
Tips
- Discounts apply to regular prices. They're not combined with an introductory price: the cheaper of the two applies.
- Approvals are verified every year. Keep your evidence up to date.
- The discount also applies to extra seats billed at the regular price.
Troubleshooting
- "You already have an application waiting for review.": you can only have one pending application per workspace. Wait for the decision.
- The file won't upload: check it's a PDF or image and under 10 MB.
- Not approved: read the reason, fix what's missing, and apply again with new evidence.
