Weesify

Edit a post after it is published

Fix a typo in a live post, keep every version, and learn what each network allows.

1 min read · Updated 30 October 2026

Weesify keeps every version of a published post, so a fix never loses what actually went out.

Steps

  1. Open Content › Publishing and find the post under Published.
  2. Choose Edit live post.
  3. Change the text under Live post text.
  4. Choose Save edit. It is saved as a new version, and the history keeps what went out.
  5. Use Open live post to check it on the network.

When a network will not let you edit

Some networks do not let apps change a post once it is live. Weesify tells you so in the editor and offers two options:

  • Post a corrected version: a new draft with your fix. The original stays live.
  • Delete and repost: archive the post in Weesify, delete it on the network yourself, and repost the fix. Weesify cannot delete it on the network for you.

Tips

  • The version list shows the number and state of each version.
  • For anything that must change right away, correct it on the network first, then update Weesify.
