Students, progress and certificates

Add students, follow their progress, and give a certificate when they finish.

2 min read · Updated 16 October 2026

Everyone who enrols from your course page appears in your course with their progress. You can also add students yourself, and send each one a certificate in their name when they complete the course.

Add a student yourself

  1. Open Revenue › Courses and choose your course.
  2. Open the Students tab.
  3. Under Add a student, enter their email address and, if you like, their Name.
  4. Choose Add and email link. They get a private link to the course by email.

Follow progress

  1. On the Students tab, each row shows the student's email, when they enrolled and when they were last seen.
  2. The progress bar and percentage show how much of the course they've completed. When they finish, it shows Done.
  3. Open Student actions and choose Contact to see the person in your audience.
  4. Use Resend link if someone can't find their access email.

Turn on certificates

  1. Open the Details & price tab.
  2. Under When they finish, turn on Certificate. Students get a certificate with a verifiable link, in their name.
  3. Optionally write a Message when they finish, for example inviting them to reply with their first project.
  4. Open the Certificate tab to design it. Choose a Style (Classic, Modern or Minimal), an Accent, the Heading and who it is Signed by. Your logo comes from your brand kit.
  5. Use Preview with a sample name to check how it looks.

Tips

  • Students receive the certificate when they finish, with a link anyone can check and a PDF to print.
  • To have an instructor sign the certificate, add instructors in Details & price first, then pick one under Signed by.
  • Use the Discussion tab to answer questions from students, and the Assignments tab to review work they hand in.

Troubleshooting

  • "Certificates are off for this course.": turn on Certificate in Details & price.
  • A student is stuck below 100%: check for a quiz they haven't passed, or an assignment still waiting for your approval on the Assignments tab.
  • The access email didn't arrive: ask them to check spam, then use Resend link. See Emails from Weesify aren't arriving.
