A theme controls your page's colours, fonts, buttons and background. You can switch themes without losing any content.

Change your theme

  1. Open your page in the editor and go to the design or theme panel.
  2. Choose a theme. The preview shows it straight away.
  3. Adjust the Brand colour, heading font and button style if you want.
  4. Choose Publish.

Use a hero photo theme

Hero photo themes place a large photo at the top of your page with your name over it.

  1. Pick a theme with a hero photo.
  2. Upload a photo or choose one from your media library. A landscape photo of at least 1600 pixels wide looks best.
  3. Choose the focus point so faces aren't cropped on phones.
  4. Check the preview on both mobile and desktop sizes, then publish.

Backgrounds

You can use a solid colour, a gradient, an image or, where offered, a video background. Keep video short and quiet; it plays muted and may be replaced by an image for visitors who prefer reduced motion or are on slow connections.

Tips

  • Make sure text has enough contrast with the background. Light text on a busy photo is hard to read.
  • Use your logo colour as the brand colour so buttons match your other materials.

Troubleshooting

  • The photo looks blurry: upload a larger original. Very small images get stretched.
  • Text is hard to read on the photo: choose a darker photo or a theme with an overlay.
