Reschedule a booking

Move a booking to another free time, yourself or by your guest, and keep the same meeting link.

2 min read · Updated 30 October 2026

Rescheduling moves a booking without cancelling it. Its payment, meeting link and calendar entry stay the same, and only times that are really free are offered.

Move a booking yourself

  1. Open Revenue › Bookings and open the booking from Upcoming or Month. In Meetings, you can also choose Reschedule next to an upcoming meeting.
  2. Choose Reschedule.
  3. Under Move to a free time, pick a day, then a time.
  4. Add a Note to them if you like, for example "Sorry for the change. See you then."
  5. Confirm. They get an email with the new time and an updated calendar file. The booking's history shows where it moved from and to, and its status shows Moved.

Let guests move their own booking

  1. Open your booking page and choose Scheduling rules.
  2. Under Changes by the booker, switch on Bookers can move their booking.
  3. Set Until (hours before): how close to the start they can still move it. Leave it empty to use your cancellation cut-off.
  4. Set Times one booking can move. 0 means no limit.
  5. Choose Save rules.

Guests choose Reschedule from the link in their confirmation email, pick a time under Pick a new time and choose Move my booking. You're told straight away.

Tips

  • Your team can always move a booking from Bookings or Meetings, even when guests can't.
  • Reminders are sent again for the new time.

Troubleshooting

  • No Reschedule button: only upcoming appointments that are booked or waiting for your OK can be moved. Dated event sessions can't.
  • "No other free times in the booking window": open up more hours or a longer booking window. See Set availability, buffers and time zones.
  • A guest says they can't move it online: it's past your cut-off, or the booking has already moved as many times as you allow. Move it for them.
