Weesify has a public events directory where people can search and filter upcoming events. Your event appears there only if you choose to list it, and only while it is public and live.
Steps
- When you create an event, the Publish step has List it in the Weesify events directory. Turn on List it in the directory.
- To change this later, open your event and choose Event page in the event menu.
- Open the Discovery & access tab.
- Under Event directory, turn on List this event in the public Weesify events directory.
- Under Tags, add up to 12 comma-separated tags. People can search and filter by them.
- Choose Save, then Open the directory to see it.
- You can also use the Listed in the events directory switch in the event's Settings.
Tips
- Only Public events can be listed. Unlisted and private events never appear, whatever the switch says.
- Visitors can filter the directory by format (online, in person or hybrid), location, date, free or paid, and tag. Clear tags and a good cover help.
- Events leave the directory once they've ended, been cancelled or been postponed.
Troubleshooting
- The switch is greyed out: set the event's visibility to Public in Settings.
- My event isn't showing: check that the event is published, hasn't ended, and is set to Public.
