Each product has one price in one currency, and buyers pay in that currency. Weesify doesn't convert your product prices with exchange rates. If you'd like to sell to buyers in different currencies, create a version of the product priced in each currency, then add a currency switcher so visitors only see the prices they want.
Steps
- Open Store and select New product.
- Create the first version, choose its Currency, for example USD, and set the Price.
- Create another version of the same product with a different Currency, for example EUR, and its own price. Publish both.
- Open the page where you sell them and add the Currency switcher block.
- Choose a style, pills or a menu, and optionally change the Label (it says "Show prices in" by default). Turn Offer "All currencies" on or off.
- Publish your page.
What buyers see
Visitors pick a currency, and the page only shows products priced in that currency. Their choice is remembered in their browser. Nothing else on the page changes, and buyers always pay in the currency shown on each product.
Tips
- The switcher only lists currencies your published products are priced in. With fewer than two, visitors don't see it.
- Use round, local prices for each version rather than an exact conversion. It often reads better to buyers.
- A percentage discount with no minimum spend works on every version. Fixed-amount discounts need one per currency. See Discount codes and sales.
- Keep stock separate per version, or use options if you only sell in one currency. See Add and edit products.
Troubleshooting
- The switcher says there's nothing to switch: your products are priced in one currency. Publish a product in a second currency.
- A currency isn't in the list: only currencies offered on the platform can be chosen for products.
- A buyer's bank charged a different amount: their bank may convert the payment into their own currency and add its own fee. Weesify charges the price shown on the product.
