Write a post in the Studio

Start a draft from a prompt, an idea, a link or your own event, write it with or without AI and move it along the board.

The Studio is a board with every post on it, from first idea to ready. Every change is kept, so you can always go back.

Start a draft

  1. Open Content › Studio and choose New draft.
  2. Under Start from, choose Blank, A prompt, An idea, Pasted text, A link, Event, Course or Product.
  3. Fill in what the choice asks for. For A prompt, describe what you want, for example "A warm post inviting people to our free Saturday class for new Muslims. Mention that it is beginner friendly."
  4. Give it a Title (only you and your team see it), and choose a Brand and a Campaign if they apply.
  5. Choose Create draft.

When you start from an event, a course or a product, the draft uses that record's real details and links to it.

Write and edit

  1. In the editor, write straight into Draft, or type a brief under Tell the AI what to write and choose Write it.
  2. To change what you have, select some text (or leave the whole draft selected) and choose Rewrite, Shorten, Expand, Tone or Translate.
  3. Open Per-platform versions to give each network its own wording. Choose Write versions with AI, or Add by hand. The version for the post's channel is what gets posted.
  4. Watch Live preview. It shows roughly how the post looks on each network, where the text folds behind "more" and how close you are to the character limit.
  5. Add images or videos under Media with Add from library.

Move it along the board

  • Use Layout to switch between List, Board and Workflow.
  • Drag a card to the right as it moves along. Dragging to Under review asks for approval. Dragging to Ready approves it. See Send a post for review and approval.
  • Add your own stages, such as "Design" or "Translation", with Add a stage. A stage can carry a status, or be a label only.
  • Select several cards for Bulk actions: move to a stage, reschedule or delete. Published posts are archived instead of deleted, so their history stays.

Tips

  • If your brand profile lists words to avoid, the editor warns you when a draft uses one.
  • AI writing is optional. If it is not available, the editor says so and everything else still works.
