Ticket types, prices and capacity

Add ticket types, set early bird prices, limit quantities and choose who can buy.

Each event can have several ticket types, such as General admission, Early bird, VIP or Free, each with its own price, quantity and sale dates.

Steps

  1. Open your event and choose Tickets in the event menu.
  2. On the Ticket types tab, choose Add ticket (or New ticket). Start from a preset: General admission, Free, Early bird, VIP, Student, Group, Member, Partner, Donation, Complimentary, Invitation, Hidden or Late / door. Every detail stays editable.
  3. Enter the Name, Description and Price. For a Donation ticket, buyers pay what they want above a minimum.
  4. Set the Quantity to cap how many of this ticket can be sold. If you leave it empty, only the event's overall capacity limits it.
  5. Under Early bird & scheduled prices, choose Add a price phase. Give it a Phase name and choose when it ends: Until a date, or for the First N tickets. The first phase that applies sets the price. Otherwise, the regular price applies.
  6. Use Sales start and Sales end to schedule when the ticket is on sale.
  7. Under Limits & who can buy, set Most per order, Most per customer or a Minimum quantity. Use Eligibility to limit tickets to certain Email domains (for example, university.edu) or Contact tags.
  8. Under Visibility, choose Public, Hidden — access code or Invitation only.
  9. Choose Save ticket.

Tips

  • Use Group pricing to give a discount when one order has several of the same ticket, or create Bundles (for example, "Duo: 2 tickets for 40").
  • The Add-ons & merch tab sells extras such as parking, meals or T-shirts on the same order.
  • Set the service fee and refund policy on the Fees & refunds tab. Choose You absorb fees or Buyers pay a service fee.
  • Use Pause sales to stop selling a ticket for a while without deleting it.

Troubleshooting

  • Can't add a paid ticket: paid tickets are part of a paid plan. Choose Upgrade or use free tickets.
  • Early bird price isn't showing: check that the phase's end date hasn't passed, and that its ticket limit hasn't been reached.
