Moving from the old Weesify (wees.bio)

What carries over from the old Weesify and what to check after you sign in.

If you used the old Weesify or wees.bio, your account moves to the new Weesify for you. You don't need to rebuild anything or reprint your QR codes. Here's what comes across and what to check.

Steps

  1. Sign in with the same email and password you used before. Your password is kept as it was.
  2. You land in your own personal workspace, which holds everything from your old account.
  3. Open your pages and links and check they look right. Then check the items in "After you sign in" below.

What carries over

  • Your addresses: every page and short link keeps the same address. Old addresses are held for you, so nobody else can claim them.
  • Pages and their blocks: each block becomes a block in the new page builder. A block the new builder doesn't have is kept with its data but doesn't show.
  • Short links, plus file, vCard and event links.
  • QR codes: printed codes scan exactly as before. A code tied to a link becomes a dynamic code that points to that link.
  • Projects become collections, and links and QR codes stay in them.
  • Custom domains: domains that were live stay live, and are checked like any other domain.
  • Uploads: avatars, images and files keep working at their old addresses.
  • Team members: accepted members join your workspace as editors or viewers, based on their old access.
  • Sign-ups from your page forms become contacts. Newsletter sign-ups keep their consent.
  • Analytics: past clicks and visits keep their country, device, referrer and campaign.
  • Paid plan: a paid plan that hasn't run out continues free of charge until the date it would have ended.
  • Billing history is kept with its original invoice numbers. Nothing is charged again.
  • Affiliates become partners and keep their codes, so old referral links still work.
  • API keys keep working for a transition period, then expire.

After you sign in

  • Pending invitations came across but weren't emailed. Resend them from Settings › Members.
  • Add a passkey or two-factor sign-in. See Passkeys.
  • Check your plan under Settings › Plan & billing.

Troubleshooting

  • My password doesn't work: use Forgot password on the sign-in page.
  • I already made a new account with the same email: accounts aren't merged automatically. Contact support.
  • A page or link is missing: if two old links used the same address, the older one keeps it. Static site links don't move. Contact support.
  • My domain isn't working: see My domain isn't connecting.
