Forms collect enquiries, applications and sign-ups. Every answer lands in Contacts, tagged and ready to follow up. A form can live on its own hosted page or inside one of your pages.
Create a form
- Open Your OS › Forms and choose New form.
- Enter a Name and an address, or Start from a template, then choose Create form.
- Add questions with Add question. Include an Email question, because that's how people become contacts.
- Add an Email consent question so people can choose to receive your emails. Leave it optional.
- For each question, use Save answer to contact to fill details such as name and phone.
- In the form settings, use Tag everyone who answers, Move new people to stage and, if you want, Double opt-in.
- Set what happens After they submit: a thank-you message, or a page to send them to.
- Choose Publish to start accepting answers.
Share it
- Copy the link from Share and post it anywhere.
- Put it on a page: open any page, add the Form block and choose your form.
- Make a QR code for posters and events from QR Codes using the form's address.
Tips
- With Double opt-in on, people who tick the consent box confirm by email before they're subscribed.
- Use Conditional to only show a question when an earlier answer matches.
- Start an automation When someone submits your form to send a welcome email straight away.
- Check Responses for the answers, and download them as a CSV.
Troubleshooting
- No contacts appearing: make sure the form has an Email question.
- People are contacts but not subscribed: they're only subscribed if they tick the consent box (and confirm, with double opt-in).
- Old link stopped working? When you change a form's address, the old address keeps working.
