Bookings can be free or paid. Paid times are held while the booker pays, and confirmed once payment goes through. Both of you can cancel within the rules you set.

Take paid bookings

  1. Set up how you get paid in Store first. Until then, people can't book paid times. See Choose how you get paid.
  2. Open your booking page and, under Price, choose a Currency and enter a Price.
  3. When someone picks a time, it's held for them while they pay. Their booking shows as Paying… in your list.
  4. Once paid, the booking shows as Booked. They get a calendar invite, and reminders a day and an hour before.
  5. If payment doesn't arrive in time, the hold is released and the booking shows as cancelled with Not paid in time.

Follow your agenda

  1. Open Revenue › Bookings. The Upcoming tab lists sessions, grouped by Today, Tomorrow and later.
  2. The Past tab shows sessions from the last 90 days. Mark each one Attended or No-show.

Set the cancellation rules

  1. On your booking page, under After they book, choose They can cancel up to: from The start to 1 week before.
  2. Closer to the start than that, people are asked to contact you instead.

Cancel a booking yourself

  1. Open the booking from Upcoming.
  2. Choose Cancel booking. Add a note if you like, for example "Sorry, something came up. Please book another time."
  3. Confirm. The booker is emailed and the booking shows as cancelled By your team.
  4. If it was paid, refund it from Store › Orders. Cancelling doesn't refund automatically. See Refunds.

Tips

  • There's no separate reschedule button. To move a session, cancel it with a note asking the person to book another time.
  • Cancellations by the booker show as By them, so you can tell them apart.

Troubleshooting

  • A booking can't be cancelled: only a confirmed booking can be cancelled. A booking still being paid for is released on its own.
  • A booker says they can't cancel online: it's past your cancellation cut-off. Cancel it for them if you agree.
  • Payment failed for a booker: see A payment failed.
